Boo n I headed out to the Hill Country for a few days of RnR!
We stayed at a lovely cabin right on the Blanco River's edge. It was pretty secluded and we
had all the privacy we could stand. With the exception of a longhorn, two black labs named Daisy n Duke (they loved Boo), and wide open starlit skies at night.
We enjoyed the river of course, but made our way into town to antique and then headed to
Fredericksburg another day to do some more antiquing and dining. Unfortunately we got too
preoccupied with shopping that we missed out on the fresh peaches at the markets. Darn!!!
We did stop in a candy store and found these disgusting things...
Yep, chocolate covered pickles!

The rest of the time was spent reading, swimming, relaxing and a trip to Austin to
catch a quick visit with Bubs!
Our hosts were wonderful and provided a lovely place for our perfect little hill country getaway!
