1. the humidity
2. bad hair days
3. mosquitos
4. feeling like you have to make a mad dash to the store to stock up in preparation for a tropical disturbance, EVEN though you have everything you need.
5. having to evacuate for a hurricane
6. listening to a full-day coverage about nothing else but a tropical disturbance on the tube
7. News reports freaking people out in all the coastal areas even though the storm has had a consistent path
8. stocking up on potted meat (although I would never eat it)...LOL!
9. paying $3.00 for a bag of ice that typically sells for 99 cents
10. hearing people say we need to "hunker down"
