Friday we'll start the day with a Christmas Eve Brunch, serving up a great menu and lots of wonderful friends.
Brunch Menu:
Texas Baked French Toast
Huevo Medley Casserole w/Belle's salsa fresca
Cozy Oinkers
Fruit Slush Cups
Christmas Sangria (my own version)
Horchata's (my traditonal Christmas beverage)
I'm sharing my festive drink recipe that I experimented with. It's different and refreshing. Serve up & enjoy!
*********************************************
Belle's Christmas Sangria
- Black Cherry Cranberry juice (Oceanspray) (64 oz)
- Ginger Ale (2 liter)
- Black Cherry sparkling water or Regular Seltzer (if you can't find bc water) (33 oz)
- pomegranate seeds from 1 fresh pomegranate
- 1 thinly sliced orange
I chill everything including the seeds and orange slices the day before. Then I combine all the liquid ingredients in a decorative decanter and add ice cubes and fruits right before serving.
Recipe can easily be doubled.
Can you say deeee-lish?
