Easy Fruit Cobbler


4 T. butter
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
3/4 c. milk
2 c. berries (your choice) or 12 oz. frozen berries
1 T. sugar
Heat oven to 350. Put butter in a 8" or 9" pan, set in oven to melt and remove from oven.
Whisk flour, sugar, bkg powder and salt in a small bowl. Add milk and whisk til smooth.
Pour into pan and then drop fruit on top and sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake until brown and bubbly (50-60 min). Serve warm with dallop of cream or ice cream!
