Happy Halloween!

hope everyone that still has a child inside of them and great memories of their trick or treating days will enjoy the excitement today! I know there are many out there that don't celebrate this holiday but to me it is one that brings back wonderful childhood memories. From deciding what to be, being creative and putting together our own costumes and then watching my sisters and I transform ourselves into something unique (nothing gorry of course), and then the best part ...coming home with filled bags with lots of goodies. We never really had candies around the house so this was a huge treat for us.
Now I just love the memories, having the neighbors over for our traditional Halloween meal and then sending the little ones off to fill their bags. The neighbors congregate in their front yards to hand out treats and it sure is fun to see the cleverly disguised children and the first timers trying to say "tweek o tweet". Here is a picture of my nieces son Isaiah as Elvis. He does a heck of an impersonation! Be safe, have fun tonight & keep making memories!!!
the traditional Jaeger Halloween meal:
bbq'd chicken legs
oven hash browns
deviled eggs
mixed green salad
pumpkin cheesecake bars
