the Dream Act

If you are not familiar with the "Dream Act" I am attaching these two sites so that you can become informed. Let me just say that I think it is very unfair that "illegal immigrants" have so many rights when...they are "illegal", when we have US citizens that do not get the benefits, welfare aid, and free education that illegals do. I am furious that our Texas Senator (KB Hutchison) is still riding the fence on whether to oppose or be in favor of this act. Exactly what do we need to do for them to see that "illegal" means breaking the law. And why do we reward breaking the law?

We must not have enough kids in the US that need financial aid for us to be helping illegals get an education and then if they demonstrate good moral character that they can remain in the US unpunished while "we" the taxpayers help give them an education and a right to remain here. So who is getting the better deal here? Really!
I am not an insensitive person but I do believe that we have too much poverty, those who can't afford insurance, or the bare necessities here in our own country-but yet congress believes we can afford to help those who are breaking the law? Go figure!
I'm sorry, and if we have that kind of financial aid, why not figure out how to help American kids or those here "legally" to pay off their hefty loans that they are graduating with?
