I spent a few hours baking my fall pumpkins so I could puree them and freeze for later use. There are many ways to cook a pumpkin but my favorite is baking in the oven and then scooping off of the shell. I made a batch of pumpkin muffins that are awesome! Granny...I think my bullet is shot though! My magic bullet I mean. I use it quite a lot and used it to puree the pumpkin and it started making funny noises...oh well! It was a great gift though. I wound up with two bowl fulls of puree--can't wait to use it. FYI--you can keep in freezer for up to a year.
