Jake's visit

Had another busy week and weekend! I am pretty much finished with the home in Galveston. I have a few final touches and am meeting the boys there on Wednesday so they can finish the vanity countertop for the outdoor pool bath, then we shall be done! My client there at the island got me some fresh shrimp that I cooked on Saturday while Jacob was here. It was so delicious! Dan and Jake enjoyed working around the house while I got caught up on work and cooked. Something I really like to do for hungry men! LOL

We got to listen to some of Jake's new written tunes and read his press release and bio. Have to say that there are many of his tunes that I really like, but to my prompting-he recorded Bye Bye Blackbird an old Mort Dixon song -which I love Miles Davis' version but now I have to admit I ♥ Jake's version! He did a three part harmony and is ama-zing! I will have to share it sometime.

By the way my digital camera broke last week (I'm not happy), so I am resorting to my blackberry and the old fashioned manual camera.
