Texas and other parts are experiencing drought and with that I would like to ask that we be a little more alert and cautious of how quickly a fire can spread under these conditions. Dan and I drove to Canton today and were commenting on how fast a fire could just get out of control in so many areas and as we were leaving the town, some firetrucks passed us with sirens and we could smell smoke in the distance. Sure enough...there are some there and in so many other Texas towns.
Please pray for the safety of those living in those areas and the firefighters that are fighting those flames. Pray for rain and for quick relief for all those being hurt by the drought.
